For the money, this is a knockout product. It’s fairly sturdy, it looks nice, and the functionality is great! My roommate and I have been looking for a coffee table for a while and we are definitely satisfied with our choice!One issue I have with this is that building it was a huge hassle. The directions were not very clear, and the figures were very small regarding the pieces and how the screws were intended to fit together. Also, it isn’t technically required to use a power tool to build this but if you don’t have a drill, be prepared to get a SERIOUS arm/forearm workout as you will be screwing screws into the wood. The holes are started for you but they are not pre-cut, you will have to drive the screws into un-penetrated wood. Also, the angles at which you need to do this are a but ridiculous. It’s possible but VERY BLOODY DIFFICULT.Also, the tool that they provide for this is almost a joke. Like a serious “HAHAHAHA” joke. You would need hurculean strength to construct this coffee table using that little thing.Word to the wise, use a drill, even if it is a cheap one, it will be super helpful.Other than that, this product is a solid “bang-for-your-buck” purchase.

I love my new coffee table! It’s so cute and sturdy and love that the top part can come up for using laptops ect and storage part is awesome as well! Took a while to put together but it’s definitely worth the money! Highly recommend 10/10 for sure!

I’m so happy with this table. We live in a small studio apartment that can’t fit a dining table. The lifting feature on this helps us eat at the perfect level.It didn’t take long to put together and is great quality. I love the storage and real wood look of this table. If you’re looking for a table like this, this is the one!! You won’t be disappointed. Order it!!

The appearance of the table after it’s built is pretty great. Having some hidden storage is certainly great to keep the clutter at a minimum in our living room.Things to note:-I did receive a board with minor damage on a non-visible side on the edge.-If you get this, they have EXACTLY the correct amount of screws packaged up, so don’t lose anything.-This is a 2 person build – 1 person to hold while the other screws. While it could be done with 1 person, the chances of breaking something will go up when attaching the covered space to the legs due to the weight, and the top to the covered space. (This is why I marked the ease to assemble down 2 stars)-Be patient. The results are worth it for the price!-Use 2 hands to open and close the hidden space. Down is harder since the pneumatics are powerful enough to lift and hold the top and whatever is on the top up.-Don’t over torque the screws! That’s asking for it to be stripped out.

I found the instructions OK but the included cam nuts are low quality, I broke the first one I tightened which meant a trip to the hardware store to buy some more. The alignment on the drilled holes isn’t perfect which I think contributed to the difficulty with the cam nuts. Several of the cam nuts bulged out when tightened properly but fortunately they were all on the inside.A cam nut is supposed to turn a 150-180 degrees to tighten but these were frequently bending if you turned them more than 90 degrees.Picture is the damage done to the interior when one of the cam nuts broke.However since this is less than half the price of most comparable tables and it seems sturdy enough once assembled I still give it 4/5 stars for the price.
